Please join us Wednesday, Sept 16th at K&L Redwood City for a special Pacific Northwest tasting with. representatives from Stoller Vineyards, Elk Cove Winery, Seven Hills Winery and Owen Roe Wines here to pour their current releases. This is a unique opportunity to taste through a variety of wines showcasing the best of Oregon and Washington. This is a walk-in tasting and tickets are $10 per person. Below is some information about each of the wineries and what they will be pouring. We hope to see you there. Stoller Vineyards and Winery is owned and operated by Bill and Cathy Stoller, who planted their vineyard in the Dundee Hills of Oregon with 10 acres each of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 1995. Today the Stollers have 176 acres under vine, the majority of which is Pinot Noir. In addition to making world-class Pinot Noir under their own label, the Stollers are also co-owners of Chehalem Winery. We will be pouring: 2007 Stoller Vineyards "JV" Dundee Hills Pinot Noir Elk Cove Vineyards is one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected wine producers, founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell. Theirs is a true family winery, with son Adam Godlee Campbell making the wines since 1995. With more than 180 acres of estate vineyards on four separate sites, Elk Cove focuses primarily on Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Gris. From Elk Cove we will feature: 2008 Elk Cove Willamette Valley Pinot Gris and 2005 Elk Cove "Wind Hill" Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Located in Walla Walla, Seven Hills Winery was founded in 1988 by Casey and Vicky McClellan, and today it is one of the forerunners of the thriving Walla Walla wine community. Together with his father Jim, Casey planted the renowned Seven Hills Vineyard, which is the source for a number of Washington’s top wines. From Seven Hills Winery we will be tasting: 2008 Seven Hills Columbia Valley Riesling, 2006 Seven Hills "Ciel du Cheval" Red Mountain Washington, 2006 Seven Hills Walla Walla Valley Carmenère Owen Roe Winery, located in St. Paul, Oregon, produces great wines from varied fruit sources in both Oregon and Washington. In addition to his Owen Roe wines, winemaker David O’Reilly also produces wines under the O’Reilly and Corvidae labels, covering a large range of varietals. We will be featuring: 2008 Corvidae "Mirth" Columbia Valley Chardonnay, 2008 Owen Roe "Sharecropper's" Pinot Noir, 2007 Corvidae "Rook" Columbia Valley Red Blend, 2007 Owen Roe "Ex-Umbris" Columbia Valley Syrah
