The 1999 Chardonnay Kistler Vineyard boasts a phenomenal perfume of sweet white corn mixed with wet rocks, candied citrus, smoke, and tropical fruit. It is full-bodied, with remarkable length and intensity. (8/ 2002)
Slightly hazy, pale yellow-gold. Superripe yet reticent aromas of dried fruits, minerals and hazelnut. Broad, rich and sweet but with perfectly harmonious acidity; highly concentrated, layered and suave. Intriguing stony and nutty nuances. Very long on the aftertaste. (6/ 2002)
Loads of rich, viscous fig, apricot, nectarine and a touch of honey is this deeply concentrated, almost syrupy bottling. Finishes with a luxurious aftertaste of exotic spices. (7/ 2002)
