Wonderfully complex, expressive and intense aged white burgundy aromas that still are completely fresh and pure if no longer primary lead to round, rich, powerful and extremely long flavors. There is really good depth here with the classic Corton-Charlemagne minerality and racy finishing acidity. While I would expect no further positive development, the balance is so good that this should easily hold for a number of years to come. Consistent notes. (11/ 2008)
