Booker's Bourbon 750ml
One of the few uncut, unfiltered Bourbons. Dilute with mineral water at two parts whiskey to one part water. Iced tea color. Potent, heady, spirity bouquet leaps from the glass in fiery, sweet, tangy notes; inhale in small doses. On the palate, Booker’s offers high-flying flavors of wood, smoke and wine at entry; midpalate is sweet and corny. Memorable finish has tastes of fruit and nuts. A swashbuckling Bourbon that requires a whip and a chair.
Aged 7 years, 1 month, and 7 days. Big and chewy, with nutty toffee, molasses, nougat, tobacco, pencil shavings, subtle fruit, and dried spice (cinnamon, vanilla). Leather, barrel char, and a hint of licorice root on the finish. Big, bold, and very enjoyable. (Vol. 22, #3)
Here's your introduction to the Beam nose: cinnamon, hot and dusty corn, short snort of vanilla. A sip gives you powerful but smooth corn and more cinnamon, finely polished oak, a hot twist of mint. Alcohol heat permeates this barrel-proof monster; water it carefully to bring out more of the mint and thin the corn. Bourbon right from the barrel, as Booker Noe liked it. Proof of batches varies between 120 and 130.
