The Faultline Bowmore is fantastic. The mouthfeel is unbelievably thick and warm, without burning at the high barrel proof. The finish is pure Bowmore, but a deeper version of it, a bassoon to a standard Bowmore's oboe. The nose opens up wonderfully with a splash of water, releasing some soft sweet notes, but overall I'm enjoying it neat the best. Bowmore has always been one of my favorite distilleries, and right now this is perhaps my favorite bottle--perfect for the cold weather and early darkness.
