This is a wine of extraordinary depth and complexity...I could use 40 plus descriptors for this wine and still not come close to nailing it. This simply has to be experienced. I recently met with Matteo Catania, the son of Vito Catania who started Gulfi in collaboration with the legendary Salvo Foti, and his passion and commitment to quality was exceptional in a country where zealous passion and commitment are the norm. Just an incredible estate. Please check them out.
