2012 Carballal "Sete Cepas" Albariño Rias Baixas

SKU #1132049

Produced from younger vine estate grapes from their 15 hectares of vineyards, as well as purchased fruit, this Albariņo is always hand harvested from carefully grown grapes, organic whenever possible, with treatments used only when absolutely necessary. Very refreshing with nice bracing acidity, there are hints of exotic fruits as well as stone fruits. A refreshing wine to sip with warm weather fare as well as the absolute perfect match with fish and shellfish, the mainstay of coastal Galician cuisine. (Joe Manekin, K&L Spanish Wine Buyer)

The newest vintage from the family at Carballal does not disappoint! Juicy white peach, white flowers, saline, mineral, chalk with hints of texture from the few months the wine spent on its lees. Medium plus acidity. Easy and delish! What a value!
