Made from a fruit grown in a handful of vineyards in the Alexander Valley, this lush, textured Cabernet was stainless steel fermented followed by aging for two years in a combination of small French (35% new) and American (21% new) oak barrels, lending notes of caramel, baking spice, and toast to ripe blackcurrant and black raspberry aromas and flavors. With suave tannins and classic Alexander Valley earthy savor, this will pair with a variety of dishes, from pasta to game. Recommended with braised red snapper in puttanesca sauce.
