Comprised of 64% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Petit Verdot, Cameron Huges' Lot #318 was entirely sourrced from Napa Valley's Atlas Peak AVA. The wine is medium-bodied with good acidity and a well-highlighted fruit characteristics. Aromas of red berries and black currant are underscored by spice and loamy earth. The nose reverberates on the palate with focused tones of raspberry and mineral. Merlot was a star in Napa Valley in 2009, and the quality mountain fruit carries this blend very successfully.
