The Salon "St. Paddy's Day" Tasting @ The Vault 164

Fresh off the heels of our first successful Salon event, we're back for a much larger (and much longer) party in celebration of St. Patrick's Day! We'll once again be partnering with The Vault 164 in downtown San Mateo for a Sunday full of Irish festivities. From 3 PM til 7 PM we'll be opening the doors of the private dining room on B St. for another giant party, this time with a focus on Irish whiskey. We'll be pouring the 2012 Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey along with a selection of other top-shelf Irish spirits. There will be a keg of Guinness in the room. There will lots of St. Paddy's Day snacks from the Vault's wonderful kitchen. There will be music. There will be classic Irish films being screened all afternoon and into the evening. And there will be raffles for prizes! We're slowly building a community of spirits enthusiasts with a hankering to do more than just appreciate fine whiskey. We're looking to communicate, to talk, to dance, to socialize, to eat, to be merry, and to enjoy ourselves. There is no formal education at the Vault, only a room full of top quality booze with top quality people having the time of their lives! $55 gets you a flight of whiskies, an info sheet, endless grub, and a Sunday full of joy. $10 guest tickets are also available through K&L for those who want to join in, but don't enjoy the brown stuff.
