This is an incredible 1/2 off deal on very tasty 1/4 bottles of Champagne! The Demoiselle Tete du Cuvee Brut Champagne is composed of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir and goes through primary fermentation in 100% stainless steel. It completes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel and is then bottled and aged for three years on the lees. The Champagne is quite golden in color, with a touch of green from the high Chardonnay content and has a decadent, generous nose that the Pinot dominates. Flavors of buttered toast, apples and even a bit of chanterelle mushroom unfold on the complex palate. This is very vinous, potent Champagne with quite a bit of length. Where form meets function. Real Champagne, travel sized. Baked apples and toast on the nose, medium bodied, with a long round finish. At $5.99 a pop, I plan to stash one of these babies everywhere. Glovebox, First Aid kit, Emergency Gift Closet...the possibilities are endless.

"Rollin' dirty." Most of us do it from time to time. You know, that bag of Cheetos, the fast food lunch. You may take a look at the 187ml format, the non-traditional Champagne closure on this bottle, and feel as though you are "rollin' dirty." However, what is inside this bottle is real Champagne. The Demoiselle has no snob appeal. We are not extolling the sourcing of grand cru vineyards here. Top grand marque or RM Champagne this is not. It is, though, a solid deal. And, depending on the circumstances under which you enjoy this little Demoiselle, you may in fact find yourself rollin' dirty.

This is the best tasting split (1/4 sized bottle) that I have ever had. This size is tricky to find top quality in, because the wine is decanted from larger bottles (that have been bottle fermented) rather than doing the process in the split. Cinnamon and I tasted two side by side, and this rich, toasty and still very fresh Champagne will make lots of friends, especially at this unbelievable price! Crack one anytime!
