The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa (2,565 cases produced) is a delicious, fruit-forward, opaque ruby/purple-colored, elegant wine displaying lots of blackberry and cassis flavors. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec, it is a round, generous, seductive red dominated by blue and black fruits. Enjoy it over the next 10+ years. (12/ 2010)
Ruby-red. Blueberry, cassis, espresso, licorice and minerals on the soil-driven nose, with some sweet oak emerging with air. Dense but bright, with attractive violet lift to the dark fruit and licorice flavors. Energetic, pliant wine with an echoing finish that features firm but nicely integrated dusty tannins. (6/ 2011)
