*Outstanding* A ripe but classic nose of hazelnut and fresh white orchard fruit aromas complements rich, full and naturally sweet middle weight flavors that possess fine depth and length for a villages level wine. This seductively delicious and lightly mineral-infused effort should repay 4 to 6 years of cellar time. Worth considering. (6/ 2012)
The 2009 Meursault is a gorgeous wine at this level. It shows marvelous harmony in a round, supple style well suited to near-term drinking. I find it amazing that Jadot produced a whopping 330 barrels of this wine, an enormity by Burgundian standards, at this level of quality and price. Anticipated maturity: 2012+. (9/ 2011)
Light yellow. Aromas of fresh-cut hay, white raspberry and smoky oak. On the palate, spicy peach, pear and apple flavors are complicated by a subtle green quality and a hint of underripe cherry. Good flesh leavened by juicy acidity. Finishes with good length. (9/ 2011)
