Intriguing hints of caramel and coffee liqueur accent roasted nut, candied orange peel, yellow pear and stone notes in this creamy Champagne, which is fresh and spicy, but subtly so, and ends with a touch of honey. Drink now through 2015. (Web Only- 2011)
Light, bright gold. Ripe pear and nectarine on the nose, with hints of honey and tangerine adding complexity. Sappy, palate-coating pit fruit and bitter citrus flavors show the ripeness of the vintage, yet this wine avoids coming off as heavy or ungainly. Finishes on a gently sweet note, with very good, honeyed persistence. (11/ 2010)
