Originally a hunting lodge, Chateau Grandis is an obscure, little-known Chateau planted to approximately 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Its gravel and clay-filled limestone soils have been home to vineyards since the early 1700s, but the winery was rebuilt and modernized in 1985, resulting in a great boost in quality of production. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in 100% oak barrels for 12-18 months. This wine is so delicious. Bright and lively. You will love it
