Fewer than 1,000 cases of Levendi's Symphonia were made in the 2008 vintage. Combining Cabernet Sauvignon from two of the Napa Valley's most prestigious sub-appellations--two-thirds from Rutherford and one-third from the Oak Knoll District. The first aromas that spring from the glass are cherry kirsch and milk chocolate, completed by subtle aromas of rosemary, earth and smoke. It displays flavors of black cherry, blackberry, milk chocolate and spice with good acidity, balance and structure. The wine is balalnced and harmonious, packed with fruit through to the long, silky finish. Can be enjoyed on its own as a hedonistic treat, or try it with red meat dieshes.
