I'm really impressed with this wines brightness. Great drive, energetic fruit and spicy hints. Wow.. really this wine is $13.99?! Very nice exprsssion of Grenache with what I can only describe as pumped up Pinot Noir. Great dark red berry fruits, baking spices a touch of cherry wood smoke. This wine really shows how Barossa can make very balanced fresh wines. Excellent, especially for the money.

Geez, as the comedian Ron White says - "looooooadeeddddddd"...with spice, I add. Medium red in the glass with a slight ring. Forest floor, dark cherry, blueberry, plum, chocolate, anise and a teaser of large baking spice on the nose. The palate is a completely unique experience for me. The fruit is very good, young and fresh and it follows well, as do the anise, earthy tones and chocolate. However, this is all about the spice which is LARGE, blanced and a beautiful additional sensory experience that I've never had before. Outstanding bottle of wine. Drink now through 2016 - Paul

- While it is true that the greatest strides in Australian winemaking have come in the last 30 years or so, commercial viticulture began as early as the 1820s and has developed uninterrupted ever since.
