The 2010 Dolcetto d’Alba flows with plenty of varietal character in a relatively plush, generous style for the year. Sweet dark cherries and menthol linger on the finish. There is nothing fancy here, just a delicious glass of Dolcetto. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. (10/ 2011)
Named a "Best Value" and given two stars by the New York Times in their article "A Shy Italian, Made for Everyday," in which they wrote: "Tannic with flavors of earth, dark fruit and menthol." (1/3/13)
