Louis Sostene "Cuvée LS" 1er Cru Brut Champagne

SKU #1114611

This is only the second release of this brand new Champagne. The wine is made by Pierre Gonet of Champagne Philippe Gonet in Mesnil, all from vines owned by his wife in and around the village of Chigny-les-Roses. The Cuvée LS is a blend of 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier based on 2008, with 30% reserve wines from 2007. It was aged for a little more than two years on the lees before disgorgement. It is a white/gold color with buttered toast and hard candy on the nose. The wine is clean and well balanced on the palate and will make a great aperitif at your next party! (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)
