A very structured 2007 Brunello, with ripe and firm tannins and beautiful fresh fruit. Full body, chewy and intense, with a long finish. This is the best from here in years. Wonderful depth of fruit. Try in 2016. (1/ 2012)
Black licorice, cola and cherry liqueur open the nose and segue to black currant and crème de cassis aromas. Forest floor, bramble and Spanish cedar. Linear, sharp and very tight on the palate with firm tannins. Give the wine five more years to soften and evolve. (2/ 2012)
The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino is a pretty wine laced with dried cherries, crushed flowers, licorice and spices. (4/ 2012)
Cherry and plum fruit are enhanced by tobacco and black tea accents in this firm red. Leans toward drying tannins in the balance. Moderate length. Best from 2013 through 2020. (Web Only- 2012)
