The opaque purple-colored 1995 offers a moderately intense nose of jammy blackberries and currants, terrific fruit on the attack, medium to full body, outstanding purity, low acidity, and a fleshy texture. It can be drunk now as well as over the next decade. This wine is a sleeper of its vintage. (2/ 1998)
