The Garrida family, proud owners of vines and winemakers since the 17th century, focus primarily on their artisanal Cava production. And their Cava is fantastic (you should try it, we sell that too!). However, they also produce a range of tables wines, of which their 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon might be the best. A delicious, sturdy, dark fruited expression of fully ripe Cabernet, there is a lot of palate weight, structure, fruit intensity and balance to make this one heck of a Cab for very little money. Highly recommended. (Joe Manekin, Spanish wine buyer)
