This is the second wine of Château Pedescalux, a Pauillac property that offers a lot of bang for your buck. The Fleur de Pedesclaux is softer and more approachable, but in the same modern style, with plenty of fruit but softer tannins. A blend of 55% cAB, 40% Merlot and 5% Cab Franc. We tasted this wine in April 2012 and immediately bought it. Very spicy, fruity nose with hints of coffee. Tons of fruit on the palate-no hard edges. Great length and lingering finish. This property is on a roll. -Clyde Beffa
