This old estate--which dates back to the middle ages--is in the middle of the Entre-Deux-Mers, just outside the village of Targon. We carried this property's fantastic 2000 vintage, and now, 10 years later, we've bought their 2010--one of the few wines from the vintage that we will carry for the price. (Most 2010 Bordeaux in this price range are too tough to enjoy young.) K&L's Clyde Beffa says, "This wine really opens up after some airing to become a very fruit-foward wine to enjoy at a party. Grill the hamburgers and serve this red fruit-flavored 2010." An incredible value from this remarkable vintage, an everyday Bordeaux you should buy by the case.
Below is a listing of the wine review scores we frequently reference in our notes. While these sources remain an excellent source of information, we always recommend that you trust your own palate. Scores in these publications often represent the personal taste of an individual critic, which may not always coincide with your own.
