A balanced and delicious budget Bordeaux from a great vintage. Shows aromas of tar, berry and blackberries. It's medium to full body with fine tannins and a long finish. The fresh acidity balance to this is very attractive. Drink or hold. (6/ 2012)
Good medium ruby. Enticing floral aromas of raspberry, fresh red plum and sweet oak. Creamy-rich and silky, with good generosity to the red fruit flavors. Finishes with civilized tannins, a trace of warmth, and a lingering note of cassis. Not the last word in complexity but I find this hard to resist. The best Puy-Blanquet I can recall at this stage of development. (6/ 2010)
