This fascinating and very regional wine is made from 100% Savagnin. Known as the King of the Wines and Wine of Kings, this yellow wine must be aged a minimum of six years, with considerable oxidation, during which it obtains its walnut taste while still maintaining freshness and vigor thanks to a film of yeasts (think sherry). Rolet's shows a fecund nose rich with walnuts, almonds and spice, while in the mouth it is powerful and exceptionally complex. Try with decadent cheeses and roasted nuts. 14.5% abv.
