This all estate grown rose is composed of 45% Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 20% red wine from Loriot's special Pinot Noir vineyard. It is based on the 2008 harvest with a little bit of reserve wines from 2007 and has 11 grams per liter of dosage. It has a very pretty strawberry color and an expressive nose of clean, ripe red fruit and a touch of cinnamon. Soft and pleasant in the mouth, this is quite delicate and balanced rose with a touch of good Loriot spice. This has plenty of depth for such an easy to like wine! (Gary Westby, K&L Champange Buyer)
