Bright crimson-purple; a wine with both serious flavour and texture, introduced by a spiced black cherry bouquet, then a more savoury palate with plum and cherry, French oak and tannins in significant support. (7/ 2012)
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2011 Ned & Henry’s Shiraz Mourvedre gives a nose of black currants and black cherries with nuances of pepper, charcoal, dried herbs and damp soil. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals a backbone of chewy, somewhat astringent tannins and refreshing acid supporting the pepper and herb laced flesh and finishing long. Drink it now through 2016. (12/ 2012)
