There is an increasing amount of tasty, characterful Gallician white wine produced from godello grapes, a thick skinned variety that, when grown in the right conditions and properly vinified, can make very crisp and brighty, yet rich and mouthfilling wines. Valdesil is a pioneer for godello in the D.O. of Valdeorras. All vines are massale selections grown in grey slate. This bottling is a joy to drink: bright, mineral and lemon flavors show good delineation and purity. Enjoy this beauty all on its own or accompanied by some fresh seafood.
