This fun limited edition offering from our friends at Imbue is a northwestern take on the bitter Aperitifs like Aperol & Campari. The base is Oregon Pinot Gris and we see an amped up use of bitter herbs here. Barrel aging is limited to a few months to preserve freshness and local Oregon beets are used to color the product. The sweetness is diminished from the Bittersweet version and it really shows in contrast with those additonal bitter herbs. We only got a few cases and K&L is the only store in CA to be offered an allocation. Don't expect it to last long, do expect it to make your summer awesome.
