Bright ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, licorice, violet and smoke, plus a whiff of animal fur. Juicy and sweet but a bit youthfully brooding, with good inner-mouth lift and definition and a distinct meaty component following through on the palate. Finishes with dusty tannins. (3/ 2009)
Eventide is the second label of Mishca Estate. A deep garnet color and a spicy nose of blackberry and plum are underscored by tones of olive, cinnamon, and cedar. Structured tannins overlay a juicy palate with good acidity and a long finish reverberating the fruit.
