Quinta Cruz is a project launched by Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyards in 2008 and is dedicated to expressing the varietals found on the Iberian Peninsula in Spain and Portugal. San Antonio Valley is situated in Monterey County, a bit north of the west side of Paso Robles and it enjoys a similar climate. The wine features shades of pomegranate and red cherry with spice and mineral. It is a reasonably intense medium-bodied wine with modest alcohol and can be employed similarly to a California Pinot Noir at the dinner table.
