*Top 100 Wines of 2012* Dense yet lively, this expressive red shows morello cherry, floral, licorice and mineral flavors supported by light, firm tannins and fresh acidity. Mountain herb and smoke notes keep this from turning candied, but the sweet fruit lingers nicely. Drink now through 2016. (4/ 2012)
Deep ruby. High-pitched aromas of raspberry and cherry, with suave floral and spice accents and a hint of cola. Spicy and focused on the palate, with good lift and cut to its tangy red and dark berry flavors. Finishes with notes of bitter chocolate, pepper and cherry pit. (9/ 2011)
