Named for the family's second-generation winemaker, Cécile Chassagne took over the family vineyard in Gigondas which was planted by his father in 1974. This blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah is made in a traditional method without destemming. A long fermentation in open-topped wood tanks followed by aging the wine for four months in new Allier oak. The resulting wine is medium-bodied in a meaty and elegant expression of Gigondas terroir. 13.5% abv.
