Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is an attractive, radiant wine graced with expressive dark red fruit, flowers, licorice and spices. French oak adds volume and shape, but it is very nicely integrated. This is a beautiful, feminine Cabernet Sauvignon from Pine Ridge. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.

Connoisseurs Guide
*One star* Nicely ripened and keyed on convincing Cabernet currants as its major theme, this inviting youngster teases with touches of creamy, root-beer-like sweetness in the nose and follows with deep, well-composed flavors that last and last. A bit lesser in tannins than its mates and enlivened by deftly fit acidity, it has a long life before it yet should need no more than four or five years before coming fully into its own.

K&L Notes
Sweet and spicy on the nose, with scents of blackberry cobbler, anise and Red Vines. Full on the palate with flavors of mocha, black cherry and raspberries, with a slight hint of eucalyptus. Integrated tannins and juicy acidity give this Cab great finesse. Drink it with hard cheeses, aged steaks, something off the grill or out of your slow-cooker.
