2008 Lucchetti "Guardengo" Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore

SKU #1094729 91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2008 Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore Guardengo reveals more concentration, richness and vibrancy than the regular bottling, with intense varietal notes of blackberries, spices, sweet herbs and juniper berries, all of which come together with unusual grace. A long, caressing finish rounds out the wine in style. This is an outstanding effort from Lucchetti. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2015. I was deeply impressed with the wines I tasted from Luccheti, a new property for me. (6/ 2010)
