The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Brookman Vineyard is a fleshy effort with gobs of flavor. It, too, will be approachable young but should drink well through 2026. (2/ 2009)
Dark violet. Spicy cherry and plum on the nose. Zesty pepper, herbs and baking spices emerge with aeration and carry onto the palate, which displays sweet redcurrant and cherry flavors. Dusty tannins add grip but are slowly absorbed by the fruit, which becomes more lush on the long, lightly chewy back end. This will benefit from some cellar time. 92(+?) (10/ 2008)
