The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Sandown Vineyard is a more structured wine that will profit from 6-8 years of additional cellaring. Its drinking window will extend from 2015 to 2031. (2/ 2008)
Deep ruby. Spicy redcurrant and cherry on the nose, with cracked pepper, anise and pungent herb notes. Sweet and sappy, offering lush red and dark berry preserve flavors and a velvety texture. Minerality builds, adding lift and back-end cut. Manages to be sweet and spicy at once, finishing with clinging persistence. To get this sort of complexity from Napa you'll usually pay twice this price, at least. (10/ 2008)
Rich, ripe and generous, with plush cherry, plum and herb flavors framed by sweet, spicy oak, balancing harmoniously as the finish persists beautifully. Best from 2009 through 2016. (10/ 2008)
