If you love Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige, you will go gaga over the Pinot Bianco from that region! This one offers a fruity bouquet and a palate impression that will remind you of Pinot Grigio with added minerality and focus. A terrific all-around food wine. The 2011 vintage has not been reviewed, but Wine Spectator wrote of the 2010 vintage: "This refreshing Pinot Bianco offers a pleasing balance between ripe, juicy peach and cantaloupe fruit flavors and tangy lemon zest and spice notes, with a creamy finish. With a base of stony minerality, this is both a good aperitif and a match for light fare." (08/2011)
