This Champagne comes from a small producer in the western Valley of the Marne, from a tiny town called Champlat-Boujacourt. It is a blanc de noir composed of 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir and is made in a very open and friendly style. The expressive nose has lots of fresh fruit and even a touch of candied cherry. On the palate it has a very supple texture and clean flavors, as well as a zippy finish.
