From Château Viranel, deep in the south of France, comes the delectable Trilogie rouge. Composed of 34% Syrah, 33% Alicante Bouschet (from vineyards planed in 1946) and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, this Languedoc red is vinified in a combination of stainless steel and concrete. Zero oak influence allows nothing but gorgeous fruit to shine through. Dark plum, violet nuances are evident, along with just the lightest hint of spicecake on the crisp and fine finish. At a modest 13.5% abv, the Trilogie rouge is a Languedoc red that can be paired with a wide variety of cuisines, including roast duck, grilled sausage with lentils or grilled tuna steaks. Take a trip to the south of France with Viranel's Trilogie! 13.5% abv.
