The 2004 Shiraz 'Siblings' was aged in French oak, 20% new. Crimson-colored, it reveals fragrant aromas of violets, blueberry, and black raspberry. Supple textured and made in a restrained, elegant style, it is well balanced with good depth and concentration. Drink it over the next 6-8 years. Leeuwin Estate is one of the benchmark wineries of Western Australia. Both reds and whites exhibit cool climate character and European elegance. (10/ 2011)
Deep red. Pure red berry aromas are deepened by woodsmoke, licorice and black cardamom. Juicy and fresh, with energetic raspberry and cherry flavors, gentle acidity, and a soft, silky texture. Finishes with a refreshing jolt of bitter cherry skin and very good length. (8/ 2007)
