Te Whare Ra is a small, organic, family-run winery in Marlborough's Wairau Valley that we loved so much that we decided to import them directly! That means more bang for your buck. The 2011 Reisling is elegantly floral with a complex palate of concentrated citrus, with Kaffir lime and grapefruit. Zesty acid keeps the mineral laden finish snappy. From the winery: "All the grapes for this wine were hand picked and hand sorted. Whole cluster pressed and then put through a very slow and cool fermentation to preserve the great floral aromatics. 2011 is another stellar vintage for aromatic varietals in Marlborough. The TWR Reisling "D" is drinking very well now but will reward another 6-8 years cellaring."
