Haut Ferrand is comprised of several plots of vineyard located near the church of Pomerol and purchsed in the 1970s by Chateau Ferrand. The vineyards are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. We tasted this value in December and ordered it on the spot. Very sweet and lush on the palate. Ready to drink tonight. Blackberry fruits abound. Enjoy a Pomerol that is affordable.
