Randy and Debbie Lewis continue to impress us with their ability to produce intense, powerful wines that seamlessly match decadence with elegance. From the winery: "Like our Reserve Chardonnay, the Barcaglia Lane bottling undergoes 15 months of barrel aging on the lees resulting in a broadly textured and finely detailed wine. Sourced from a single Dutton Ranch vineyard planted for us in 1998, this site consists of 3 blocks all planted to unique clones. The 2010 vintage is showy and explosively fragrant with tropical fruit, jasmine, and honey-orange meringue. Mouthwatering tangerine fruits are voluptuous and round-textured, shot-through with seductive spices leading to a long and lustrous finish. 450 cases produced."
