A fresh, cool and still reserved nose of citrus, mineral reduction and green fruit aromas leads to energetic and solidly precise medium-bodied flavors that possess reasonably good complexity on the ever-so-mildly sweet finish. (10/ 2011)
This comes from vines that are about 20 years old, and is done in stainless steel tank to preserve freshness. Etienne has gotten together with two other small producers to share a winemaking facilitity in order to be able to afford the best equipment possible, and it shows. This has a nice snap, as is characteristic of the vintage, with minerality on the finish. Nice Chabis at a nice price. (Keith Wollenberg, K&L Burgundy Buyer)
