93 points Suckling: "Deep and rich, with dark chocolate, blueberries and spices. Full body, with velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Very polished and sexy. Very pretty. Best after 2016." (02/12) According to Wine Spectator: "This is a ripe, forward wine with friendly plum, licorice snap and dark spice notes and a soft, fleshy finish. Drink now." (Web-2012) According to Robert Parker: "The best wine under this moniker that Jean-Luc Thunevin has yet produced, his homage to himself (or is it me?) is a delicious, fruit-forward sleeper of the vintage. Oodles of black currants, kirsch, licorice and spice jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, surprisingly concentrated wine that leaves a substantial tactile impression on the palate. Drink it over the next several years. Bravo!" (02/12)
