While writing the book, author of Women of the Vine, Deborah Brenner, created the first-of-its-kind winery. Featuring hand-crafted, limited production wines, Women of the Vine Cellars unites award winning women winemakers from around the world under one brand. It is the first art gallery of artisan women winemakers designed to showcase their individual styles and nuances of their regions. This wine is delicious - deep black ruby in color with enticing aromas of rose petal, ripe plum, black cherry, and spice, this Syrah is big, lush, and round in the mouth with flavors matching the aromas. Layers of earth and toast integrate. The balance is very good with good length and persistent flavors. This wine is drinking great now with structure to age as well. Compare at $45-$65 elsewhere.
Below is a listing of the wine review scores we frequently reference in our notes. While these sources remain an excellent source of information, we always recommend that you trust your own palate. Scores in these publications often represent the personal taste of an individual critic, which may not always coincide with your own. We have a huge team of excellent wine professionals that can match wines you've had in the past with new arrivals that meet your flavor profile.
