According to Wine Spectator: "Perfumed and flowery, displaying hints of ripe currant on the nose. Medium-bodied, with a good core of ripe fruit and a medium, silky finish. Refined. From a 1.2-acre parcel in the Margaux AOC owned by Château Cambon La Pelouse. Best after 2011. 290 cases made." (Web Only - 2010) The talented Claude Gros, who does such a great consulting job at many Bordeaux properties, has fashioned a fine wine from this tiny estate. Dense purple color and aromas of toasty blackberries, blueberries, and flowers are found in this medium to full-bodied, pure, long Margaux. (Clyde Beffa Jr.) 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot; vinified in small stainless steel vats followed by ageing for 12-14 months in French oak.
