Pale, gold-tinged yellow. Initially reduced nose eventually offers subdued aromas of lemon, mint, licorice and herbs, plus a hint of caramel apple. Fat and rich, with firm-edged apple and apricot flavors showing decent persistence. Rather one-dimensional wine with a chunky personality. (10/ 2011)
